Clinical Trials and Studies In Down Syndrome

We are conducting groundbreaking studies with adults who have Down syndrome.

Clematis Study on Cognition

We are looking for volunteers for a clinical trial to learn the effects of a new medicine on learning, memory and language in people with Down syndrome ages 18-30.

Subjects should be able to communicate verbally and have a caregiver/parent willing to help complete trial activities and answer questions from the doctor and research team.

The clinical trial involves about 10 visits over 10 months to our center in La Jolla. We will be testing a drug developed by Roche called a gaba-a agonist, specifically RO5186582.
