Dr. Sahagian received her undergraduate training at Occidental College and her MD from UC San Diego. She completed her pediatric residency at the UC Irvine and her pediatric neurology fellowship at UC San Diego.
She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Special Qualifications in Child Neurology. She practices as a general child neurologist and has a special interest in neuromuscular disease. She provides neurologic care at Rady Children’s Hospital muscle disease clinic.
Dr. Sahagian also provides neurologic care for medically fragile children residing at the Helen Bernardy Center. She is a member of the Child Neurology Society.
Her research interests include pediatric neuromuscular disease. Dr. Sahagian is a co-investigator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association National Registry.
