Our Research Focus

We focus on two main areas of research

1. biology of brain circuit formation during development
2. causes of Alzheimer's disease in people with Down syndrome

Clinical Trials

The information we gain from this research is leading to clinical trials of adults with Down syndrome. Some of these are conducted at our Adult Down Syndrome Clinic, including a trial to improve cognition for people with Down syndrome ages 18-30.
