Child Neurology Residency
The UC San Diego Child Neurology Residency Program is a five year categorical program that offers residents comprehensive education in the treatment of both adult and pediatric neurologic disorders.
About Our Program
Prospective Residents
Our residents see bread and butter cases as well as the rarest of the rare, and our faculty is diverse, approachable, and all love to teach! We select two residents each year for the child neurology residency program through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
Research
Research is a major focus of our division, with the goal of improving diagnosis and treatment, especially for neurological conditions that are difficult to treat. We are currently conducting research on neurodevelopmental disorders, stroke, movement disorders, and more.
Patient Care
The Pediatric Neurology Clinic at Rady Children’s Hospital offers comprehensive services to evaluate and manage neurological disorders of childhood, both in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Among our services, we offer a comprehensive epilepsy center and specialty clinics in many areas.
