Scientific Scope
We aim to build a synergistic, interactive, and productive multi-year project centered on advancing our understanding of the causes and setting the stage for development of new treatments for a host of Structural Brain Deficits.
Using both forward and reverse genetic strategies and working across three different species (human, mouse, zebrafish), we will leverage off of existing areas of expertise and fully developed institutional resources, new breakthroughs in the field of genetics and modeling, and this established collaborative network in order to identify new causes and mechanisms of human SBDs.
