Meet the Adminstrative Team

 

  • Priscilla Mendoza

    Priscilla Mendoza

    Administrative Specialist/ Fellowship Coordinator 

    Ms. Mendoza joined the Movement Disorder Center in September of 2015. She provides administrative support to Dr. Irene Litvan (Professor of Neurosciences, Director of the Center) and program staff. She is also the coordinator of the Movement Disorders Fellowship Program and organizes the Parkinson and Other Movement Disorders Center signature patient symposium. Ms. Mendoza has over 10 years of experience in healthcare, previously working as an Administrative Associate in Pediatric Department of Rheumatology at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.

  • Lisa Damron

    Lisa Damron

    Clinical Program Coordinator

    Lisa joined the center in October 2017 to support Dr. Litvan's clinical coordination and research efforts. Since then her role has evolved to manage the center’s educational outreach efforts, center of excellence designations, care management and advance care planning. She earned a Master of Sciece degree in Gerontology, holds a current certification as a care manager and has completed additional training in palliative care. Lisa has worked in the field of geriatric medicine for the past nine years fulfilling her passion of supporting individuals as they age.

  • Lindsey Vernengo

    Lindsey Vernengo

    Clinical Coordinator

    Lindsey earned her master's degree in public health from San Diego State University, completing her thesis research on Alzheimer's disease, with mentorship from UC San Diego's Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) before joining the Parkinson and Other Movement Disorders Center in May of 2019. Lindsey facilitates the clinical needs of patients treated by our specialists to support their continuity of care. With over six years of healthcare experience, her passion is to serve individuals affected by neurological disorders. She also enjoys fitness activities, weekend travels, and is certified as a yoga instructor.
