Welcome Murray and Ryan — June 2019

The Brewer Lab has some new personnel! Murray Andrews is a recent graduate of UC Berkeley and will be joining the lab as a Staff Research Associate. Ryan Ross is currently an undergraduate student at USC and will be a volunteer research assistant over the summer.

Barbara's paper accepted to JAD — February 2019

Congrats to Barbara Spencer for getting her paper accepted into the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease (JAD)! You can read about her exciting findings about long-term follow-up in Mild Cognitive Impairment:

Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2018 — July 2018

We ventured out to the Windy City to indulge in deep dish pizza and attend AAIC. Barbara presented her work on using biomarkers to predict conversion to Alzheimer's disease and Dino presented a poster on tau-PET and atrophy.


American Neurological Association Annual Meeting 2017 — October 2017

The Brewer Lab team enjoyed some time away from the office this past week to attend the annual meeting of the American Neurological Association. At the meeting, Dino presented his work on polygenic risk and longitudinal hippocampal atrophy, and received the travel award from the ANA.

Alzheimer's Association International Conference 2017 — July 2017

We had a strong showing at this year's AAIC in London. Barbara presented her work on amyloid pathology and hippocampal atrophy. Our imaging results from multiple clinical trials were also featured in presentations at the conference.


The Brewer Lab Moved to ACTRI! — August 2016

We now have a new home in the beautiful Altman Clinical and Translation Research Institute (ACTRI). Come say hello to the Brewer Lab in their new space on the West Wing of the 3rd floor!
