Parkinson's disease

  • UCSD Parkinson's Support Group Network: You have Parkinson's disease. What's next? Join one of the UC San Diego Parkinson's Disease Support Groups — there are unique groups structured specifically for People with Parkinson's and their Care Partners. Learn from your peers, get answers, discuss symptoms and medication options, share resources, and learn from people who have first-hand experience. The group is made-up of warm, smart, welcoming, funny, optimistic people.

Atypical Parkinsonian Disorders

  • For patients and their caregivers dealing with Atypical Parkinsonian Disorders like PSP, CBD, MSA, OPCA, SND, SDS:
    • Location: UCSD Thornton Pavilion, 9300 Campus Point Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037, SDG&E Room (3rd floor)
    • Meeting Time(s): 3rd Thursday of every month from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.

  • Dystonia Support & Advocacy Group of San Diego: For patients, their family and friends that would like to be part of the Dystonia support group and attend meetings
    • Location: Alvarado Hospital, 6655 Alvarado Rd., San Diego, CA 92120
    • Meeting Time(s): 3rd Saturday of every other month (Jan, March, May, July, Sept & Nov) from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
